Online Safety Act & Age Verification Policy

This website (live121chat.com / Live 121 Chat) publishes explicit and pornographic imagery and falls within Part 5 of the UK Online Safety Act 2023. RJ Media LLP is required, and committed, to keep this imagery away from anyone who has not verified they are 18 or over. This page explains how that works.

01 No imagery before verification

You will not see or otherwise access any explicit or pornographic imagery on this site until your age has been verified. This applies from the moment you arrive, before any account is created and before any imagery is shown.

Ticking a box or entering a date of birth is not accepted anywhere on this site as proof of age. It does not meet the standard set by Ofcom, and we do not use it.

02 How we verify your age

You can verify your age using either of the following:

• Yoti. A certified digital identity service. Yoti confirms you are 18 or over without sharing your documents or images with us.
• Card-based age check. A successful payment made through our payment processor, CCBill, is treated as confirmation that you are 18 or over.

If neither check returns a confirmed result, you will not be able to access explicit imagery, and no partial or trial access is given.

03 What we store, and what we don't

We keep a record that a check took place: the method used, the result, and the date and time. We do not store your ID documents, photos, or full card details. Those stay with Yoti or CCBill, our payment processor, who handle them under their own regulatory obligations.

These records exist so we can show Ofcom and the ICO that verification genuinely happened. They are held securely, access is restricted to a small number of authorised staff, and they are kept only as long as we are required to.

04 Your privacy

Age verification data is processed under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Full detail on how we handle your data, including verification data, is set out in our Privacy Policy.

05 If you think a check has failed

If you believe someone under 18 has accessed live121chat.com, or that our age verification has not worked as it should, contact us straight away at [email protected]. We treat every report as urgent and will investigate immediately.

This policy sits alongside our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. It is reviewed regularly and whenever Ofcom updates its guidance on age assurance.
